President Biden signed the $1.9 trillion COVID relief package known as the American Rescue Plan Act earlier this month.
From this, Congress allocated more than $31.2 billion in dedicated funding for tribal governments and Native communities.
A portion of this funding has been earmarked for Tribal Social Service Programs that you may be directly involved with:
- $772.5 million—Tribal Government Services
- $19 million—Domestic Violence Programs
- $75 million—Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- $1 billion+—Tribal Child Care
- $7.5 million—Administrative Oversight and Support
- $420 million—Behavioral Health Services
- $20 million—Native Language Preservation
There may be some accountability and reporting requirements associated with these grants; however, the BIA just held tribal consultations, and in those discussions everything is still very much in flux.
Chances are that your Tribe is already using, or considering implementing, a data management system to handle the cases, people, and services provided to your members.
RiteTrack has been designed specifically for Tribal Social Services and offers the unique approach of implementing an integrated software solution. So your Tribe can implement multiple modules to create an enterprise-level system, or only one module as a standalone solution. Whatever suits your needs best.
The integrated data strategy enables you to improve services to your members and reduce paperwork.
Included and equally important to case management, are the built-in reporting capabilities that remove the headaches of complex reporting requirements.
